Assistant Principal

I’m proud to be apart of the Pomo Elementary School team. As a former collegiate basketball player and graduate from Cal Poly, SLO, I value education and teamwork.  My background, my experiences and my passion to help people drove me to become a teacher.

I began my career in education as a 2nd grade teacher and have taught most grades through elementary and middle school.  In 2016, I completed my Administrative Credential at Sonoma State and accepted a position as the Assistant Principal at Pomo School.  I truly believe that every child can learn and that the partnership between the school and the home is of the utmost importance when it comes to supporting children in their learning.

I look forward to a great year.

Appreciatively,
Joe Madrid
